Our ultimate engineering triumph. An observatory watch featuring a proprietary offset-orbit module built on the Sellita SW200, causing the Satellite and the Earth to rotate independently of one another.

I am Dmitriy Chugunov, a watch enthusiast. The Dmitriy Chugunov brand was not conceived as a business model, but as a manifesto of independent watch design. It is a challenge to established canons, to uninspired mass-produced classicism, and, above all, to the limits of modern micromechanics.

Brand Philosophy
Each of our projects is released in a strictly limited, numbered edition — from 1 to 500 pieces worldwide. We know that, due to these small production runs, not everyone who wants one is able to acquire a watch from our new releases. Waiting lists fill up rapidly, and models quickly become collectible rarities.
However, we will never compromise by increasing production volumes. For us, mass production is a trade-off we are not willing to make.

Each piece requires an extraordinary amount of handcraft — from the precision finishing and decoration of the plates to the final polishing of intricate sculptural reliefs. Increasing production would inevitably turn artistry into assembly-line work, which we will never allow.
